Just thought I would throw a few recruiting reports/rumors/tweets out there from the series of tubes:

• FoxSports.com's Kristian Dyer reported that he has confirmed that 4-star RB Jameel Poteat will commit to Pitt, perhaps as early as today.  Jameel is related to former Panther great Hank Poteat and is very close with LeSean McCoy.  That has to bode well for the blue and gold.
• He also tweets that he predicts that 4-star DB Terrell Chestnut will like join Poteat at Pitt.  KDKA blogged that he is a heavy Pitt lean and could decide soon. Jory Rand repeated the same on last night's 11:00 news. That also seems to be the impression of the folks over at Pantherlair.com (Headline: "Chestnut to Announce Decision Soon" ($)).

I have no idea whether any of this will actually happen, but it certainly is cause for some cautious optimism, especially after the bad beginning to the week.
